=====Explode segments in pie charts=====

You can explode individual segments in a pie chart to highlight them.

To explode all the segments in a pie chart:

# In the ''External Style Sheet ''editor, under ''Data series'', select ''Pie series'', or in the ''Inline Style Sheet ''editor, under ''Data series'', select ''Series''.
# On the right-hand area of the editor you are using, select the data series entry in the ''Series ''list, and then find the ''Detachment ''setting group on the right side of the area (see the picture below).[[Image:6600.png|139px|Style sheet - Pie chart - Series - Detachment]]
# Specify the distance in pixels, between the segments by entering a number in the ''Value ''numeric input field.

To explode an individual segment in a pie chart:

# In the ''External Style Sheet ''editor, under ''Data series'', select ''Pie series'', or in the ''Inline Style Sheet ''editor, under ''Data series'', select ''Series''.
# On the right-hand area of the editor you are using, expand the data series entry in the ''Series ''list, select the data point entry associated with the segment, and then find the ''Detachment ''setting group on the right side of the area (see the picture below).[[Image:6600.png|139px|Style sheet - Pie chart - Series - Detachment]]
# Select the ''Use data series settings ''check box on the right side of the title bar of the group (see the picture below) if you want the segment to be exploded in the same way as the series.[[Image:6598.png|171px|Style sheet - Check box - Use data series settings]]
# Since you actually want the segment to be exploded differently, you clear the Use data series settings check box and then specify the distance in pixels, between the segment and the ones on either side of it by entering a number in the Value numeric input field.

Note: In the inline style sheet of a pie chart, if you want to decide whether the ''Detachment ''setting group of a segment has the same setup as the series, you have to turn off the inheritance mode of that group first so that it does not inherit settings from the external style sheet of the chart. You do this through the ''Inline Style Sheet ''editor by clearing the ''Inherit ''check box on the right side of the title bar of the group (see the picture below). After that, you can select or clear the ''Use data series settings ''check box at will.
