General Description
|
User can use points to buy products in the web shop. It is possible to insert and withdraw points to usersโ accounts using the import feature.

Business Rules
|
- The points of users can only be deducted or inserted. It is not possible to change the total points amount of a user by importing a new total. To get a new total you must know the current total and insert or withdraw the amount necessary to achieve the new desired total.
- To withdraw points using import you must state a negative number in this column. To insert points using import you must state a positive number in this column.
- Generally you just want to insert points for existing users, since they earned these points through processes external to the system (this could be users who answered a questionnaire in another system). In this case you will put a positive amount in this column (means insertion of points) and make sure each user has a user_id specified.
- To update this field for existing users, you must select a User_Id column in step 1 of the import wizard and the value of this column will be used to determine which userโs record to update.

Validation
|
- Points must be integer, either positive or negative, otherwise, an error message will be shown to inform user that an error has occurred. Error type: ERROR (the import job will not be allowed to be executed).
