variance
Estimates variance based on a data cache column’s values.
Calculates
Where x is the sample mean average and n is the sample size.
Note that the variance is NOT calculated based on the categories, but using all data in the dcs. All empty values are ignored.
Syntax
variance(dcsColumn)
Arguments
dcsColumn: is a numeric dcs column (column whose data type is Number)
Example
number n = variance(C1) where C2 == [1];
print(n); //return variance value
