CGMail
CGMail is used for sending mails from CatGlobe. CGMail is enclosed with CatGlobe system.
To set up please follow these steps:
- Open Control Panel -> Add/remove program and uninstall the old version of CGMail.
- Run Setup.exe in folder CGMailServiceInstall to set up CGMail service. The default path is C:\Program files\
- Open Start menu -> Administrator tools -> Service, right click on the CGMail service and select properties. Choose “Automatic” for Startup type and start the CGMail service.
- Go to the folder that CGMail has been installed in (maybe C:\Program files\CGmail) and open CGmailservice.exe.config:
i. SMTP Server IP: <add key="smtpserver" value="..."/>ii. The value here is stmpserver IP. If the CGMail runs on the SMTP server, we can simply use “127.0.0.1”, e.g. <add key="smtpserver" value="127.0.0.1"/>, Notification sender address: <add key="serviceemail" value="..."/>
