Show or hide gridlines
To show or hide the X gridlines in a bar line, area, point, bubble, or box and whiskers chart through the External Style Sheet and Inline Style Sheet editors:
- Under Axes, select X gridlines, and then find the Display group of settings on the right-hand area.
- To hide all the X gridlines, select None.
- To show the major X gridlines, select Major gridlines.
Note: Currently, it is impossible to show the minor X gridlines in bar line, area, point, bubble, and box and whiskers charts.
To show or hide the Y gridlines in a bar line, area, point, bubble, or box and whiskers chart through the External Style Sheet and Inline Style Sheet editors:
- Under Axes, select Y gridlines, and then find the Display group of settings on the right-hand area.
- To hide all the Y gridlines, select None.
- To show the major and hide the minor Y gridlines, select Major gridlines.
- To show the minor and hide the major Y gridlines, select Minor gridlines.
- To show both the minor and major Y gridlines, select Major & minor gridlines.

- Under Axes, select Gridlines, and then find the Display group of settings on the right-hand area.
- To hide all the gridlines, select None.
- To show the major and hide the minor gridlines, select Major gridlines.
- To show the minor and hide the major gridlines, select Minor gridlines.
- To show both the minor and major gridlines, select Major & minor gridlines.
