Button: Conditions

Location: Conditions drop down menu item

Description: Conditions make it possible to create flows in your questionnaire depending on what answers are given in other questions. It also makes it possible to reduce the number of answer options in one question based on the answers given in a prior question. If e.g. one prior question was “Which of the following soft drinks have you tried?” with answer options “Coca Cola” and “Pepsi”, then we can choose that the next question “Which of the following soft drinks do you find tasty?” exclude the soft drinks from the prior question, which the respondent never tried. To learn more on making conditions for questionnaires please click for the dedicated help files found here! You can validate that the formatting and references of your conditions are legal by clicking the ‘Test all conditions in questionnaire’ button also found under the conditions drop down menu.
