stdev

Estimates standard deviation based on a sample. The standard deviation is a measure of how widely values are dispersed from the average value (the mean). All empty values are ignored.

Calculates

where x is the sample mean average(DCSColumn)… and n is the sample size

Syntax

stdev(dcsColumn)

Arguments

dcsColumn:  is a numeric dcs column (column whose data type is Number)

Example

number n = stdev(C1) where C2 >2;

print(n); // return standard deviation value
