Deleting and destroying resources

In Catglobe we generally talk about deletion in different ways depending on the type of record to be deleted. Some records will be removed from the database immediately when deleted, others will be moved to the recycle bin from where they can finally be destroyed. Not all types of records in the system make sense to place in the recycle bin before destroying, either since these types of records contain so little information that little is lost if we destroy them immediately, or because the records are deleted frequently and would be impossible to find and restore if such a feature was available for them.

In the following help file we will only discuss records that can be restored. Generally these records are all the resources that exist in the system. Below is a full list of resources which are placed in a recycle bin after deletion.
