General Description	Grid text question is created by gathering two or more text questions into one grid. An example could be two questions “What is your first name?” and “What is your last name?”. We can in reality see each part of a text grid question as a text question – or what we also call sub question. As such there is no difference in importing to a text question as importing to a sub-question. All rules that apply for a text question are exactly the same as for a sub-question.

Business Rules	To auto-map to a sub-question you must name your excel column the same as the grid-question + '_SQ_' + the index of the sub-question afterwards. Indexes start from 1 and upwards. If the above example of a grid was called “YourName” and we want to import to the question “What is your last name?” (which is the second sub-question) then the column header must be “YouName_SQ_2”.
