Schedule DCS build page

This page is used to schedule a data cache specification to be rebuilt using the Cattask service. You can do this when you know a data cache needs to be rebuild frequently and you do not want the users to wait for rebuilds while trying to view new reports, so you can have the data cache rebuild at certain intervals or before you know a lot of people will be using it. This also has the advantage that you can schedule the rebuild on times when the server is less stressed in order to avoid other modules using the system becoming slow.

There are two different build types:

Continue from last broken build: to be used when you know something happened that made the server crash, e.g. the server was rebooted during the build process. It will probably happen quite rarely so we advice you to generally choose the next type.

Rebuild the whole data cache specification: this will rebuild the entire data table of the data cache.

There are 3 different scheduling types:

Start now: the building process will run on CatTask service after the Start button is clicked. No additional properties need to be set!

Start later: the building process will be scheduled to run at a later time on CatTask. This time you can choose in properties as shown below. It is best to choose time during the night or when you know only a few people will be busy.

Re-occurrence build: the building process will be scheduled to automatically run after every interval of time in a period. Three settings will be offered as shown below. A start date and an end date and the interval of how often the reoccurrence should happen in between these dates.
